Volunteer Certification

Our mission to serve all students who need guidance services cannot be accomplished as successfully without precious volunteers such as yourselves. However, the Call Me Success program aims to grant all applicants the highest of quality in guidance counseling for their academic and career journeys, meaning volunteers have to meet a certain level of standards before becoming certified on our platform.

We are currently in the process of being a certified 501c nonprofit organization. If you wish, please send the appropriate service hour forms from your institution to our contact page with proof of volunteering on this platform. We will reach out to your relevant institution to formulate a proper verification channel.

The certification process contains 2 primary steps:

  1. Use the option choice below to register for a meeting session, where your certification process will formally begin. During this session, a mock counseling session will be implemented after introductions, and evaluations on performance will begin immediately through proctoring. After the mock session concludes, you will be asked to present a previously-prepared list of qualifications you believe will make you a great candidate for being a platform counselor. The result of your exam would be announced before the conclusion of the meeting session; if you are qualified, a unique alphanumeric or similar code will be provided for your safekeeping. Proceed to step 2.

    2. Register for the LinkedIn Learning platform and complete the mandatory Counseling Skills Certificate training course. Once completed, use the option choice below to submit the unique session code and LinkedIn Learning certificate. This will place you into a waitlist, if there is any, to become one of our trusted and certified guidance counselors. Congratulations!

Minimum Standards Required:

  1. Clean background and record from your institution.

    2. (3.5 and above) GPA met or previous semester transcripts which indicate as such.

    3. Involvement in at least (1) local organization or club leadership position AND at least (1) international organization member position.

    4. Currently registered in a secondary institution (high school or equivalent) or partaking in university-level curriculum.

    5. Availability to commit to at least 4 hours per week. Please reply to the post-submission decision in case there is the need to implement a custom schedule.

    6. Fluency in English, Spanish, or Mandarin. Certified bilingual or native language speakers are prioritized.

    7. Able to access a reliable network connection in a quiet place, with a working webcam device, microphone, and laptop or tablet.

    8. Agreement to the Code of Ethics and Privacy Policy documents. All applicants are assumed to agree to these two documents. You can visit the privacy policy form by navigating to the home page or clicking on the highlighted text. Failure to comply or the decision to opt out with any one of these forms, at any time, will result in status cancellation.

    9. (Optional) Letter of Recommendation from a current teacher or staff member at your institution (limited to those in your previous or current grade level).

These standards will be implemented during post-submission reviews. If you wish to appeal the review decision, please respond promptly to the post-submission decision. All responses are kept confidential.
